Orange Blossom Collection, summer / Autumn 2024

Over Easter we went on a beautiful holiday to Greece. On arrival and throughout, I was overwhelmed by the fragrant scent of orange blossoms and lemon trees everywhere. These tiny, unassuming blossoms with their shiny, waxy leaves fragranced our entire stay. Needless to say that the numerous visits to archaeological sites and museums were just as amazing - but of that another time…

The Spoils of War, Spring 2024

In March 2024 I was invited to exhibit my work at Cluster in London, a contemporary art jewellery fair. For this occasion, I created a series of three pieces, which expressed some of my thoughts on the subject of violence against women in conflict situations and war. I wrote a special Blog, dedicated to the three pieces and the thoughts behind their creation and their symbolism. Please click here to read.

My aim was to create pieces that would tell a powerful story, make a statement and invite the viewer or wearer to reflect on these issues. Whilst the subject matter may be painful, the pieces are not. I wanted to design beautifully elegant and sophisticated pieces that make the wearer proud, strong and confident when wearing them.

The pieces are entitled:

Clytemnestra’s Tears – Trophies of Power

Necklace. Sterling silver, 24ct gold foil, rice pearls. 2024

Dafna’s Cries – The Spoils of War

Brooch. Sterling silver, 24 ct gold foil, rice pearls, stainless steel. 2024
