Barley Corn Pattern Ring in Silver and Gold
Barley Corn Pattern Ring in Silver and Gold
The idea and design for this ring originates in my Interrupted Pattern series and involves a playful re-imagination and arrangement of the simple leaf pattern. Whilst some are reminiscent of wheat or barley corn shapes, others are more akin to repetitive flower patterns. You can read here more about the background of this collection.
The ring is made from recycled Sterling silver and 18ct Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold. The shank is stamped with an irregular leaf pattern and made from oval wire, i.e. it has a gentle curve on the outside and the inside, giving a very comfortable fit. There are three small 18ct yellow gold leaf shapes which sit in three of the indents, making it a very subtle, yet special ring to wear.
As ring sizes vary, this ring is made to order only. Please state your ring size in the pop-up box during check-out.
All pieces are hand-made by myself and are hallmarked at the London Assay Office. Slight variations may occur.
Size: thickness of oval shank - circa 3 x 1.8 mm
