Wearing It
The delicate texture and gold pattern make this brooch easy to wear and combine with a variety of clothes. It can be suitably worn for a variety of occasions, from formal to casual, making it also a lovely piece to gift.
Designed to echo the display frames of a museum object, the brooch invites the viewer/wearer to discover its details on the front and reverse. The brooch feels solid to the touch but not heavy. It should sit well on any jumper or coat but may not be suitable for very thin fabrics. The brooch back is a handmade, secure double-pin brooch mechanism with a stainless steel pin to provide strength and spring. Whilst the front has a satin silver and gold finish, the back is oxidised giving it a sophisticated and elegant look.
