Inspired by lines and patterns these earrings capture the essence of understated elegance. Like the accompanying ring, the texture of the silver lends the piece tactile depth and allows the 24ct gold stripe to stand out, whilst the 18ct gold ear wire adds a sense of subtle luxury. It makes them the ideal option for any occasion or outfit, endowing the wearer with a sense of casual sophistication.

The earrings are handmade in my studio: they are designed, shaped, textured, soldered and finished. The 24ct gold stripe on the solid oval components is applied in the Korean technique of Keum-Boo.

Deeply conscious of the environmental impact of the jewellery industry, this piece is made from recycled sterling silver and Single Mine Origin (SMO) 18ct gold, which can be traced back to the Hummingbird Resources Plc's Yanfolila mine in Mali where it was produced in January 2020.
