This beautiful dark blue necklace is part of my Keum-Boo, 2017 collection. It is made from dark blue and white silk braid with two silver beads and a removable silver pendant. The beads and pendant are textured and made from Argentium silver. They are decorated with 24ct gold foil pattern.

The necklace is fastened with a strong, handmade silver hook clasp.

All parts of this necklace, including the silk braid, are made by myself in my studio. Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese technique for making silk braids. Here you can read more about this technique.

The silver parts are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
