This striking, necklace is part of my Ovals collection. It is made with a delicate green and black Kumihimo silk braid. There are four small, oval pendants which are textured and domed. The longer pendants dangle from the ovals. At the back of the necklace the oval-shaped, hand-made lentil clasp holds the necklace securely around the neck. This is a unique, one-off piece.

The pendants are partially oxidised and made from Argentium silver.

All parts of this necklace, including the silk braid, are made by myself in my studio. Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese technique for making silk braids. Here you can read more about this technique.

The silver parts are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
