Hand-forged and folded Argentium silver ring with Keum-Boo circle.
Hand-forged and folded Argentium silver ring with Keum-Boo circle.
The shank of this unusual Argentium silver ring is hand-forged from a piece of square silver rod. It was hammered in both directions to achieve the graduated tapered shape. The hammer marks are still visible on the side of the shank. The silver on the top part of the ring is textured and folded. Within the fold a thin layer of 24ct gold foil is applied in the shape of a circle. The ancient Korean technique of Keum-Boo is used here to heat-bond the gold to the silver.
One ring in size M 1/2 is available for immediate delivery. Other sizes can of course be made to order in circa 2-3 weeks. Please indicate your ring size in the pop-up form and see further images below.
