My second piece in my 2022 collection Interrupted Patterns is this piece. This elegant brooch was inspired by patterns on ancient Greek ceramics. You can read the whole story behind this collection in my June Blog.

The front part of the brooch is heavily textured and curves gently at the front. It is decorated with a delicate leaf and stripe pattern, using 24ct (fine) gold foil in the ancient technique of Keum-Boo. The pattern is reminiscent of the decorations on ancient Greek ceramics.

Materials: Fine silver, recycled sterling silver, recycled 24ct (fine) gold foil (13 microns thick). All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
