Elegant, dangle earrings with elongated, gold pattern
These sophisticated earrings are part of my collection Interrupted Patterns. Read the whole story behind this collection in my June Blog.
The oval-shaped silver earrings are heavily textured and gently curve towards the back and have sterling silver hook ear-wires at the top. They are decorated with a delicate and elongated leaf pattern, using 24ct (fine) gold in the ancient technique of Keum-Boo. The pattern is reminiscent of the decorations on ancient Greek ceramics.
Materials: Recycled sterling silver, recycled 24ct gold foil (13 microns thick). All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Size: ca 30 (length) x 13 (width) mm; ear-wire: Ø 0.8mm
