Elegant, dangle earrings with gold pattern.
These elegant earrings are part of my collection Interrupted Patterns. Read the whole story behind this collection in my June Blog.
The intricate pattern and shape make them delightful to wear. The silver earrings have an irregular shape, are heavily textured, gently curve towards the back and have sterling silver hook ear-wires at the top. They are decorated with a delicate leaf, dot and stripe pattern, using 24ct (fine) gold foil in the ancient technique of Keum-Boo. The pattern is reminiscent of the decorations on ancient Greek ceramics.
Materials: Recycled sterling silver, recycled 24ct gold foil (13 microns thick). All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
