This beautifully striking necklace is part of my Ovals collection. It is made from a green and black Kumihimo silk braid and has with two large, oval, curved pendants. The pendants are textured and partially oxidised and made from Argentium silver. The necklace is held together with a strong, handmade silver hook clasp.

All parts of this necklace, including the silk braid, are made by myself in my studio. Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese technique for making silk braids. Here you can read more about this technique.

The silver parts are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
